Nissan opens two new dealerships in Nagpur and Kolkata

In a bid to achieve its aim of having more than 100 dealers by 2013, carmaker Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) today announced the opening of its two new dealerships in Nagpur and Kolkata.
With the addition of these two new dealerships, NMIPL now takes its total number of dealerships to 32 across the country, the company said in a statement.
The opening of the Navnit Nissan dealership in Nagpur and that of Chandrani Nissan in Kolkata marks Nissan's dealership expansion strategy to reach commercial coverage in more than 78 per cent of the national territory, the statement said.
"We are delighted to bring Nissan to the customers in Nagpur and Kolkata. We are aware this is a very important phase of our journey and we stand by our commitment to provide Indian customers with a full range of products and services," MD and CEO, Nissan Motor India Mr Kiminobu Tokuyama said.
The company said it has appointed Hover Automotive India as an exclusive strategic alliance partner to handle sales and marketing, dealer development, customer relationship management and after sales in the country.
"We are extremely happy to open two more dealerships. With the valued patronage and support of our dealer partners, we hope to create a significant presence of Brand Nissan and provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards," Vice President- Operations, Hover Automotive IndiaMr Manoj Kumar said.
Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL), is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Nissan Motor Limited Japan and the line of vehicles it offered is Nissan Micra (Global compact hatchback), Nissan Teana (luxury sedan), Nissan X-Trail (SUV model) and Nissan 370Z (iconic sports car).
