The railways have decided to run a special train between Kolhapur and Nagpur from July 1 considering the demand from passengers.
The bi-weekly train will have halts at Miraj, Sangola, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Barshi town, Latur, Parli Vaijnath, Parbhani, Purna, Akola, Badnera, and Dhamangaon .
The 01403 Nagpur-Kolhapur train will leave Nagpur on Tuesday and Saturday at 3 pm and will reach Kolhapur on Wednesday and Sunday at 3.25 pm.
The 01404 Kolhapur-Nagpur train will leave from Kolhapur on Monday and Friday at 12.50 pm and reach Nagpur on Tuesday and Saturday at 12.35 pm.
The train will have 18 coaches, including one 3-tier AC coach, one 2-tier AC coach, eight coaches of second class sleeper class, and six unreserved coaches , according to a railway press release.
