SAD NEWS :- Nagpur: Four suicides in 24 hours

Four persons, including a 20-year-old standard XII passed student, ended their life in the last 24 hours. Abhishek Meshram, who had passed HSC this year, hanged himself to the ceiling hook at his maternal grandmother's residence at Kunjilal Peth on Thursday evening.

Police said Meshram took the extreme step while his grandmother, who is a bank employee, had gone to her job. Meshram's parents were staying separately since last year while he was staying with his grandmother. The reason behind the suicide is not yet known. Meshram's mother is also a bank employee while his father owns a carpet business. Ajni police registered a case of accidental death.

In the second incident, Wardhaman Nagar resident Mukeshkumar Kingre (39) hanged himself to the wooden angle with a dupatta. He was found hanging by his elder brother early on Friday morning. The deceased, who owned a grocery shop, was not going for work since fortnight. He had started drinking heavily and would remain in one room, said a relative. Lakadganj police registered a case.

Dejected after being isolated by his wife, a 42-year-old Domdev Gajbhiye hanged himself to the ceiling fan. Gajbhiye was found hanging at his residence at Chakrapani Nagar early on Friday morning. Police said that a few year ago, his wife and daughter left the home. A few months ago, she got married to somebody else. Gajbhiye was jobless and would drink a lot, said the police. Hudkeshwar police registered a case.

The body of pan kiosk owner Munna Parmal, 22, was found floating at Gandhisagar Lake on Friday night. The deceased was a resident of Gulshan Nagar. No suicide note was found. Ganeshpeth police have registered a case.
